Kitchen

TetonHaus has a fully stocked kitchen ready for everything from quick breakfasts to big group dinners.

Gas Range & Oven: (Bertazzoni) The range and oven are Bertazzoni gas — here's how to use each:

​

Stovetop burners: Turn the burner knob to the "ignite" position and hold until the flame catches (usually 1–2 seconds). If it doesn't light on the first try, release and try again. Never leave burners unattended on high heat.

​

Oven: Fully open the oven door first. Press and hold the thermostat knob in the OFF position for 2 seconds, then turn it counterclockwise to your desired temperature. Keep the oven door open for 20–25 seconds after the burner ignites — this allows the thermocouple to heat up and stay lit. Once it's stable, you can close the door and let it preheat normally.

Coffee: A drip coffee maker is on the counter. Filters and coffee are provided to get you started — check the pantry for supplies. For a full house, we recommend running two back-to-back batches.

​

Spices & Pantry Staples: We stock the kitchen with basic spices, oil, salt, pepper, and common cooking essentials. Check the pantry cabinet before your grocery run — you may already have what you need. Please leave whatever you don't use for the next guests.

​

Supplies & Storage:

  • Pots, pans, and baking dishes are in the lower cabinets

  • Plates, glasses, and bowls are in the upper cabinets near the sink

  • Dish soap, sponges, and dishwasher pods are under the sink

  • Trash bags are under the sink — trash cans are located [location]

Tips

  • The dishwasher runs best on the normal cycle with the heated dry setting on

  • Please start the dishwasher before checkout if you've used dishes

Entertainment

TVs There are two Samsung TVs in the house — one on the main level in the kitchen/living area, and one in the basement movie room. Both are set up in hotel mode.

To access streaming services:

  1. Press the Home button on the Samsung remote

  2. Select your preferred streaming app (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.)

  3. Log in with your own account credentials

  4. When you're done, please log out of your accounts before checkout
     

Movie Room The basement movie room has a large Samsung TV and a big, comfortable sectional — perfect for movie nights after a day on the mountain. Grab extra blankets from the bedroom closets and settle in.
 

Sonos Speakers The home has Sonos speakers throughout. To use them:

  1. Download the Sonos app on your phone (free on iOS and Android)

  2. Connect to the TetonHaus WiFi network

  3. Speakers are labeled by room name — select whichever rooms you'd like

  4. Stream from Spotify, Apple Music, or any other connected service

Each room can play independently or you can sync them all together for whole-home audio.


Game Room The basement game room has:

  • 🕹️ Classic Arcade Cabinet — loaded with multi-game classics including Buck Hunter and Mrs. Pac-Man. Just press start and play — no tokens needed.

  • 🏒 Shuffleboard Table — full size. Pucks and scoring markers are on the shelf nearby.

Hot Tub

  • 🚿 Shower before entering — lotions, oils, and sunscreen affect water chemistry

  • 🍷 No glass in or around the hot tub — use the plastic cups provided on the patio

  • 🍕 No food in the hot tub

  • 👥 Maximum 8 guests at a time

  • 🕙 Quiet hours are 10pm–8am — please keep noise down out of respect for neighbors

  • 👶 Children must be supervised by an adult at all times

  • 🌡️ Do not raise the temperature above 104°F

Bedrooms

Lights: Each room has touch lamps with USBs and a remote for the lights. 

​

Blackout Shades Each bedroom has pull-down blackout shades — especially helpful in summer when the mountain sun rises early. Pull the shade down gently by the bottom rail and it will lock into place. Give it a slight tug downward to release and let it roll back up.

​

The motorized shades over the stairwell are controlled by the remote switch at the top of the stairs.

​

Extra Blankets & Pillows Extra blankets and pillows are in the closet of each bedroom.

​

Heathers & Fans Each room has heaters and fans located in ther top of closests

​

  • Primary Suite (Main Level) — King

  • Guest Room 1 (Main Level) — Queen

  • Guest Room 2 (Basement) — Queen

  • Guest Room 3 (Basement) — Queen + Twin

  • Bunk Room (Basement) — 2 Queens + 2 Twins
